Delicious food, food can take awhile so I never come expecting it to be fast… good food takes time!! Great vegetarian options and I love sitting in their outside area.
Love this place so much. We live up the street and besides the delicious Indian food, we can get literally anything we need at the mini market. The owners and staff are so friendly and the outdoor seating is really nice to sit at. We always order the butter chicken, garlic naan and butter samosas. Our children who are one and two years old, love the samosas and the mango lassi.

Genuine, delicious Indian food discovery. We stumbled across this gem of a restaurant in Placerville - attached to a convenience store. The cutest little porch area, and friendly staff. We had the Saag Paneer, which was so rich with spinach and delectable spices - the eggplant curry (my favorite of the night), and another tomato curry dish that was to die for. We will definitely be coming back and bringing other people who have not discovered the gem! So happy to have a brilliant Indian restaurant in the area.

I have driven by this place for years and heard great reviews so tonight was the night! I loved the outdoor patio with cute little chandeliers, a fountain and pleasant music. The food was delicious!! The tiki masala and Adoo ghobi and coconut shrimp!! The food came out quickly and we devoured it!! Spicy, rich, flavorful, fresh! This will definitely be in our rotation of our favorite restaurants!!
The gifted chef, Suraj, brings authentic flavors, aromas, and tastes with his unique recipes. The food is not greasy. Mostly felt energized after eating here. Chicken tikka in several recipes is amazing - the pieces are small and very nicely marinated! I enjoyed each item I had so far including the pizza, wrap, biryani, fries, rose lassi, and gulab jamuns! Every grain of the biryani and every bit of chicken was delicious and aromatic. The rose lassi was perfect! The use of chutneys and sauces in the wraps and pizzas gives them a very home made touch. I hope they sustain the quality, recipes, and everything!
Review Time!!! Stopped in as soon as I saw the post to try the new sandwich combo. I preface this by stating that I am not a burger guy. All I get from places that offer both options is always chicken. Now to the food. Fries: crispy outside and fluffy inside even after 15 minutes of sitting in the car on my trip home. Well seasoned with a mildly spicy seasoning (spice for flavor not heat) a perfect compliment to the chicken. Sandwich: every piece of this sandwich is designed to work together and make it better. The chicken is gloriously crispy outside with tons of flavor and seasoning. The breast meat STAYS juicy and tender well after it's made and is a solid 10/10. Cheese is gooey and melted perfectly into the chicken crust without making it soggy. A refreshing bed of pickles and signature sauce give a nice tang from below while the tomatoes, onions, and arugula add a pleasant bit of juice and acid to balance the dish. TLDR: this is BY FAR the best chicken sandwich I've had across most of NorCal. I visit restaurants across multiple cities all year long and am proud to have Spice Kitchen making such wonderful dishes in my local neighborhood. 10/10 will be back soon!
